Personal Cartography

The London GPS map contains details of my life in the city from 2000-2009. I record and collect GPS data of all my journeys to create a personal cartography. As a method of digital mark making it captures idiosyncratic moments with precision and pinpoints the geography of time.

We create unique textures of travels that are woven through the city. In the details of our digital traces we can find expressive qualities similar to those found in the marks made in a pencil drawing.
