Thirteen Years of Mowing is part of a series of GPS drawings that tells a story of an on-going relationship with a private space.
The lawn is a stage upon which we enact rituals for the great suburban performance. Like sharpening pencils and preparing paper on which to draw; we bring to life the mower and clear away obstacles that could cause interruption. When steering the machinery in particular ways for particular affects we create drawings composed of paralleled desires. A garden is never finished.
